 The Tamworth Jockey Club holds 20 race meetings per year, including Melbourne Cup Race Day, Tamworth Cup Race Day, TSSA Ladies Day, Romantic Dream Plate, Country Music Cup and the Chamber of Commerce Race Day. The TJC is well supported by our local business community with everyone enjoying a day out at the track. Our biggest days of the racing calendar see in excess of 4,000 people through the gates and over 150 Jockey’s, Trainers, Strappers and staff.

The Finishing Post sign is approx 3400x1100 in size and will be erected and maintained at the Tamworth Jockey Clubs expense. The term of the contract will be 3 years, with the agreed amount for the 3 years required prior to erection of the sign in order to secure the position for the 3 year term.

The exposure this prime location receives locally, nationally and internationally is significant. Being situated opposite the members’ area and broadcast over the TAB and Sky Chanel networks. Sky’s multi-million dollar expansion of racing coverage, choice and channels includes two new channels Sky Racing2 and Sky Racing World to complement the existing Sky Racing service. 

 

Underlying the Sky Racing World mantra of “best faces, best races” the channel offers experts in every facet of thoroughbred racing, with coverage being broadcast into South Africa, Malaysia, UK/Europe, New Zealand and Singapore, the heightened brand visibility that would be received by your business internationally and Australia wide is second to none.
